My Dear Emergency Physicians, Emergency Paramedics, Emergency Nursing fraternity and all colleagues involved in Emergency Medicine. The Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI) is the largest organization representing Emergency Medicine in our Country. It is also a full member of International Federation of Emergency Medicine, representing Emergency Medicine of India on an international platform. We are organizing our prestigious 24th Annual Event on Emergency Medicine the flagship conference EMCON 2022 at Trivandrum, Kerala India under the SEMI Trivandrum Chapter from November 25th to 27th 2022.
We have also organized pre-conference workshop from 12th November onwards which is aimed at providing the participants with a scientific fiesta of various research projects and hands-on sessions. The theme of the conference is “Resilience, Research & Revolution”. It aims to bring in the field of Emergency Medicine an agreement of EM into the future bonding our unique needs with the progresses made with regard to both quantity and quality of EM care across the Nation.
As you all are aware we are associated with ISRO to make Quality up gradation utilizing Space Technology (HEALTH QUEST) to ensure zero error in ED and bringing in uniform guidelines across the Country in the best patient care with innovations which is the future of EM. Over the years, SEMI has always emphasized on timely and appropriate interventions by qualified personnel which has led to significant reduction in our patients’ mortality and morbidity. As the President of SEMI, I wish to add further impetus towards strengthening the scope & availability of Emergency Medical care to the last patient across the country. Our audience includes Emergency Physicians and nurses, Acute Care specialists, Anaesthesiologists, Intensivists and all healthcare professionals interested and involved in delivering Emergency/acute care. It is a complete event for everyone from healthcare. On behalf of SEMI I wish the Organizing Committee of Kerala Chapter a huge success. I on behalf of SEMI board, all the SEMI members are looking forward to your participation in making this event a grand success.
